Oh, those lovely California poppies! :-) I know they are a menace for you...but did you know that people buy them here to plant them? California poppies are very popular in the desert areas of Arizona.dawn (http://www.girl-inchoate.com/photos/)
It's actually our state flower. I only dread them because my blog visitors might be tiring of my pictures of fields of poppies.
