One: this really drove home to me how long it's been since I was last on Fremont street.
Two: That is actually One Scary Photo, with a fine, creepy Blade Runner vibe working.
Not sure which detail seems most peculiar: the bright pink lightsaber things on the "Mermaids" marquee, or the red-white-'n'-blue support-our-troops ribbon next door.
I must say that to me, Vegas (by night) is one big scary, creepy place, but Fremont Street really does have the Blade Runner vibe. The strip is more like R. Crumb does Disney.
your Fremont Street Photo and the other wonderful landscape i ages are beautiful...My fave is probably the ghost town. I stopped by a ghost town on my way back from Death Valley one August (yes, we visited in AUGUST cause we are crazy) and the old cemetary there was so fascinating.
